I must be insane...

I'm from the lex, although on there I'm puprlepenguin. I love to write and hope to publish someday. Currently I have about 2 books finished and haven't sent out queries yet. I keep thinking I will later but later has never come. I tend to write more fantasy than other forms of writing, it's a lot of fun to delve into my imagination.

What else...well I'm in grad school and finish this quarter with my final class. I'm getting my masters in marriage and family therapy and work mostly with children.

Hobbies: Writing, anything rightbrained
Likes: Rain, thunder, snow, hanging with friends, nice weather, food I can eat....the list goes on.
Dislikes: Food I can't eat (lots of allergies), eating out in places that don't serve food I can eat, commercialism, big bugs, and so on.
If everything had to be one colour, what colour would you choose?:
Why that colour?: I don't know, I like blue, it's one of my favorite colors. I tend to like lots of colors though. Life isn't right without lots of colors!

Allergies? To what, if you don't mind me asking? They're a B!tch, aren't they? I'm allergic to nuts, myself.. along with 20 million other things. I think Watermelon's about to be added to the list, too. Guh. Sucky. Sucky sucky sucky allergies!

I figured I was insane for signing up for another forum, like I don't have enough to do with my time already, but it's worth it. Always fun to chat with people!

As for allergies, it's a bit of a list. Besides environmental and skin issues, there's Soy, Dairy, Peanuts, Egg whites, and Wheat. I still use dairy for baking bread and so on. Egg whites are safe when baked into things as well. But the others I like to avoid. Eczema and the other reactions just are pleasant. Nothing severe though just down right annoying and miserable.

Oh my! I feel so sorry for you.

I used to pray to God and asked him to give me some allergies so i wouldn't be normal. Thank you God for not granting that wish!

Well if you like we could always trade immune systems , I certainly lost weight after the diet change. Not like I needed to in the first place though.

I then realised what an allergy actually was!

I used to think it was an obsession with something. I used to go to my doctor and say: "I think I have an allergy to chocolate!!!"

I nearly died of laughter typing this!!

That would be such a wonderful thing if that's what allergies meant, loving something too much. I would be in bliss then!

Yikes, and I thought being allergic to nuts was bad, you have a massive long list there, poor thing!
Guh, its just so hard, isn't it? always worrying about finding one of your allergies in something... (did that make sense?) I get overly paranoid at other people's places (actually, if paid off this weekend, one of my friends almost accidentally poisoned me with hazelnut...)

I wish allergies were good. I don't have any but still.
