PostSubject: Hello   Hello EmptyJanuary 9th 2008, 7:13 pm

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for about 2 weeks and finally had time to sit down and join. Lets see, I'm Bewitched on the lex but my real name is Megan. I write mostly contempary romance but I'm currently working on a time travel one; and I'm stretching to write a more serious work of fiction. Similar to what Oprah might read.

I like to write on my laptop when nobody's home but I have been known to pull over while driving down the highway just to put paper to pen before I forget something. I have notebooks stashed everywhere.

I love to read, write, hike, listen to music, check out hunky guys, and daydream.
I don't like people who are rude and arrogant and think they are better than anyone else, office politics, and slimy scrambled eggs.

If I had to chose just one color, I'd probably pick purple but in lots of different shades because it's my flavor of the year.

Hey, I know you! You're the Murphy Bros carnival gal from the Hash, right? (If not, that sentence will make zero sense)

Either way I'm glad you're here. Welcome to our little writer's nest. I hope you feel at home.

LOL Kdenae. It's me.

Yeah Vampyr Reborn, I'm pretry crazy about my writing. My hubby says someday I'll figure out how to keep paper dry when an idea comes to me in the shower. He's cute so we let him stay. Rolling Eyes

Shocked Do you think of ideas in the shower???

Ugh, whenever I have WB, that is first thing I do (take a shower). I've never said that before, because I think it's pretty wierd...(I'm glad I'm not the only one!)
So could you get on with inventing water-proof paper? I really need it Razz

Okay, you guys are not alone. I will stay up really late writing but then force myself to take a shower before I go to bed, since I can be a zombie in the morning. So there I am, 2 AM, and BAM an idea hits. So I have to clamber out, soaking wet and exhausted, to write it down before I forget it. Rolling Eyes Isn't writing glamorous?

Hi!
I think waterproof paper is possible, sort of like a white board with markers.
In fact here is some: http://www.waterproof-paper.com/

Hmmm.... I wonder how that holds up in the shower? I might have to do some consumer testing.

Aw its funny once you go laptop you can't go back haha. the infamous notebooks - are yours in a variety of colours too? i can't open my bedside locker drawers/ desk drawers cause they are stuffed with them (usually blank Laughing ). i do carry around a small jottor (like the old fashion reporters have - size of my palm and black elastic keep it closed) with me everywhere with a pen - just in case
