the goblin explained a bit Empty
PostSubject: the goblin explained a bit   the goblin explained a bit EmptyFebruary 23rd 2009, 1:13 pm

"...hi..." said the goblin breaking the ice, continuing "...bear with me and all will be revealed in my posts whereas, if you don't read my posts, what's the point in an introduction here, no I won't spoil it for you, if you want to know, the person behind this mask that is, you'll gleam it for sure humans in what I write...", at which point the goblin asked in return "...besides, who can prove who they say they are on the Internet, not me for one, and anyway, I'm not really sure at this point if that man in the mirror, his docile family life and all those other trappings should be here at all, not if it is an "Internet self" I am creating for myself here...", the girl walked calmly down the rows of bistro tables, coffee in hand ready to refuel the goblin's brain further, outside the rain poured away the last of the city of Geneva's grime in a torrent of repetition, and all that was just some hard-fact "dailylife", "...and you would have me be this then, but my imagination is boundless mortals, do you follow me mortals..." called out the goblin across the ether to them as he slipped away into the awaiting Internet, this then was him, a persona now, no longer a person then

the goblin doesn't hide who he was, he just didn't believe that his "dailylife" self was him while here, that's all, saying "...actors, who do not believe in their parts, while acting, are unlikely to have the audience believe in any of their parts either, and, where the story engulfs its reader, the story teller too, had most likely been possessed by his own story..." the goblin tried to bridge it, continuing "...but you all know that, you been there yourselves, in your stories that is, no, don't try to tell me that it's by some cold calculating thought process here that you write, you wait for it to come, it's that deep gripping sensation isn't it, in which you type on following it, building it, and above all being it in ones total, oblivious to all else, especially time that is..." ventured the goblin now somehow returned at this point to the bistro where he had been when he had started writing this "...gosh, is that the time..." he just mentioned as if his "dailylife" intruded on his thoughts once more, that clock was cunning the goblin admitted

the goblin welcomed the posters again who had welcomed him to a seemingly normal site with average members, perhaps guessing that somehow they too had realized that something was amiss here, that the others were in fact, all to a man, KGB agents just practicing to be would be writers, "...yes, your asking yourself how in your heart you knew this all along, that is how when comrade admin appealed to her fellow proletariat members to rally up against the constraints of capitalism, you couldn't buy into the hidden Bolshevik ideology here..." said the goblin pausing for the exact words again, he continued "...no, like me, you didn't fall for it because their deception was in a way just too perfect to be real so it had to false then...", "...brilliant Holmes..." came the voice in the background as the goblin's three pipe solution was once more pressed into his pipe "...elementary my dear fellow, no one can post on this site longer than three weeks without going mad, and the rest was just a simple deduction from there then..." the solution smoldered away in the goblin mind

Alek: I object to your use of KGB and 'comrade'!
Me: Down boy.

What do you mean by all that about the KGB?

Alek: The KGB was disbanded-!
Me: Knock it off. Sorry about him. He's...sensitive
Alek: *to me* Shut up.
Me: *to Alek* I told you first.

(the goblin thanked alex for reminding him that the KGB were no longer around and he promised to tell Holmes about it when he returned)

actually, the goblin was all for the reinstatement of the KGB by the Kremlin as long as they got round to filtering the spam while going through his email, "...OK please make yourselves at home here, think of my inbox as "yours for the spying on" but just hit the spam too..." said the goblin thinking they would be very good at it

the goblin is thinking of those ghosts in the past again and how stupid it is now to try to justify himself to them saying "...what can one ever do otherwise to what one has done, yes there's are always observations with hindsight but none of them will ever change what happened..." as even now those ghosts just seemed to have their palms outstretched towards the goblin in a wish to be paid, "...so what coins do I place on your eyes then to pay that ferryman to send you on then..." the goblin asked into the silence of their faces once more

"...well slot, I guess our ghostwriting days here are up now...", in fact, the night had a funny way to bringing things to the fore in the goblin's mind, and, after all, the Spring is always the season for trying new ventures is it not, not that all of which would root though, "...goblin, three weeks is time enough to know one way or the other..." the slot was always more direct than him, continuing "...besides, you didn't get your "last post" thread, nor were you allowed to start any new threads, and no one spoke to you, so all that remains is to just turn of those "notification of replies"...", the muse smiled saying "...oh no, no need to make enemies goblin, you're not leaving, just think of it as more like "running silent" from this point on..." and with that the goblin knew that he still had to find the matching picture for this post, as it always forced him to look at the post by its sentiment or feeling and not just by words
