Is it normal to be shy?

Hi, I'm Hadhafang. Yes, like the sword from LOTR.

Well, I really don't know what to say. I'm sixteen and I live in Michigan, USA. It's been my dream for a very long time now to travel to the Maldive Islands. I'm South Asian, Muslim, and I speak a few languages...

I love photography, and I have big plans to learn and better myself. I'm still kind of an amateur right now. I love science, really, I do. It invigorates me so much. Sometimes more than literature [gasp]! It's been my dream since I was a kid to be a scientist. I hope to get a degree in Biochemistry one day, and do research.

As for writing... well, my writing is very sporadic. Unfortunately I am not talented enough yet to be able to spout wonderful-ness whenever I want to. I can only write when I have a million and one things going on in my head and my emotions are overloaded. But I'm told that's the best kind of writing?

Anyway, I really hope to meet new people, I love forums and I haven't joined one in a few years so bear with me while I get my wits back. <3

Lord of the Rings is awesome And believe me; we are all at the mercy of our own muses, respectively. Which often comes when we can't actually write ( of course).

Novel, I really think you are a genius and I know how you feel right now. Internal conflicts are much nicer when on paper and not raging inside your head.


Hello Ray, nice to finally meet you. I must say, I've always loved the antagonist more than the protagonist, so no worries, right now you're on my 'good' list!

Me: Yep. It would. But you know I love ya. I love all my characters. Most of the time.

Characters are like relatives. Can't live with or without them. Just have to put up with them. And love them, [most of the time]

Aha! Ditto, ditto, ditto! The only other person around here that knows what I'm talking about is my English teacher. And he's my archenemy on bad days and my rival on good days. Even on perfect days I wouldn't sit down with him and talk shop. No, no, no. That's why the Draft is so amazing.

Astra: Ugh. I can't stand your English teacher.
Me: Join the club.

Me: Nope, but here's a button.

Oy. My whole life is dedicated to my characters. I think they lead bigger lives than I do -- I live in my head, and they actually do stuff! Hahahaha.
